The
Dead Plants, who have just finished mixing their album go back on
the road again..... A short Irish tour in March, is followed by a much
larger scale tour Stateside during April and May ........a
road movie in the making if ever I saw one.....Route 66 anyone.......The
album which is currently being mastered, is set for a June release,
so expect a visit to your town soon. |

The
Alvy Singer Effect continue work on their debut lp, provisionally
entitled "Glorified Songs for Elevated States",
is expected to ship in July or August. Two major recording sessions
are scheduled for the next three months, which should see it finished.

If you are in Ireland or Scotland, watch out for some low-key concerts by the Alvys, as they road test some new songs ..... Watch this space. |

Pure
Blind Panic. (if that's still their
name) finally got it together to start recording the follow up
to Fragment.
They have been fairly quiet of late, and "far too busy making other peoples music to do any ourselves", claiming that they "just forgot to make time"... these are the first new tracks since they contributed Slowly to the Quick Release of Tension cd last year. When asked about plans for gigs in the near future, they just laughed, and said something about needing to "learn how to play the new material first" ...... so I wouldn't hold your breath just yet....... |

Orchestre
Murphy have, in their own inimitable style just finished mixing
their debut album for Tension!. Expected out this summer, we expect
it to be called "The Gab....gift or curse...?",
and maybe under the pseudonym "the Plain
People of England". Previews
